Course Description: 

This course will examine the etiology, attributes, and treatment of the main behavioral addictions.  Specifically, the addictions of gambling, sex, food, exercise, work, and the internet will be explored, as well as those therapeutic strategies that are often most helpful in addressing these addictions.

 

This class will meet in person throughout the entire semester. This class will include PowerPoint lectures with large group discussions, selected videos and articles, and small groups for therapeutic skills practice.
