Welcome to SOC 403 Crime Scene Workshop

SOC 403 Crime Scene Workshop is the applied, hands-on component of SOC 402 Crime Scene Investigation. The course provides students with an opportunity to apply crime scene procedures and investigative concepts in a realistic, team-based setting.

During the workshop, students will process staged crime scenes, document observations, recognize and collect evidence, prepare written reports, and present their findings. Emphasis is placed on teamwork, professional decision-making, accurate documentation, attention to detail, and proper crime scene procedures.
