INSTRUCTIONS

Note: To experience all of the available functions and features, please download and encourage your students to use the Microsoft Teams application, which can be downloaded from: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/microsoft-teams/download-app.

STEP 1: SIGN IN

• Click on the Sign In button
• Enter your credentials (username & password)

IMPORTANT

• ALL USERS: You must enter your username AND "@immaculata.edu" regardless of your IU Email address
• Your password is the same.
• Example: 
  • Actual Email: saclo@mail.immaculata.edu
  • Microsoft Username: saclo@immaculata.edu 

 

STEP 2: SCHEDULE YOUR MEETING

• Click on the Create Meeting Link button
• Enter a Title (e.g., "Our Online Virtual Classroom")
• Enter the Start Date & End Date for your course (e.g., "09/01/20 - 12/14/20")
  • Note: The meeting will continue to be accessible regardless of the start/end dates entered here.
• Click the Create Button

 

STEP 3: SCHEDULE YOUR MEETING

• Your meeting event is now scheduled when you see "Meeting Created" on your screen along with a COPY button 
• Click the COPY button to copy the Meeting URL to your clipboard
• Return to your Moodle Course and add the link for your students to see.
  • Recommended: Create a URL Module in Moodle that directs to your new meeting link and place the module prominently at the top of your course.
